Boston Pizza Partners with Mobile Ordering Provider - Restaurant News - QSR Magazine

Boston Pizza International is a casual restaurant chain with close to 400 stores throughout the United States and Canada. They were looking for a new outlet for customers to order food, which is smart for any business in todays world. Having the upper hand over competing customers is essential for business success.

The company partnered with ONOSYS, a provider of both online and mobile ordering technologies for restaurants. The company sets up a page for a restaurant with graphics and a logical order flow making it easy for any person to order food. This will increase any restaurants off-premise sales, because it is giving the customer a whole other experience with the restaurant.

ONOSYS partnership with Boston Pizza is the company's first one with a casual-dining organization. Other restaurants would be wise to get with the company in order to produce more revenue. I feel as though the this technology has been out there for a while it is just that people were hesitant to use because it is not in the norm. I do know that when I open up my own business later in life I will be using ONOSYS or a similar company to ensure the success of my establishment.

  1. If company provider of both online and mobile ordering technologies for restaurants, it will easy to order. Now people using cell-phone for internet and it makes using everyplace. So I think if pizza order online or phone, it will increase revenue.

  2. Companies like ONOSYS I believe are an excellent addition to the foodservice industry. The idea of ordering by phone is nothing new to customers, but being able to order food by the convenience of the internet is new. Purchasing almost anything you can think of on the internet has been possible for a while now. Being able to order food and have it delivered within the hour or so though is definitely a new concept.
    With Boston Pizza now partnering with ONOSYS they are broadening their horizons of customers greatly. With restaurants and business everywhere trying to create new ideas to pull customers in and competing massively with many other companies this tactic is a definite leg up on other companies, so to speak.
    I agree with Justin and his thoughts about online and mobile ordering. It is a great idea with the way society works nowadays. The effects are well worth the increase in revenue and exposure too.

  3. I must agree that this needs to expand beyond Dominoes pizza. I have ordered online a few times and I absolutely love it! Its quick and cost efficient because you can do it at anytime of day without wasting any minutes. What is so cool about these kind of programs is that they tell you when your meal is being prepped, when it's put in the oven, and when it is being delivered. So by adding this to your business the revenue is sure to rise.
